Hi! I'm Jaye

Becoming a stylist and salon owner has been my dream since I was five years old. Everything about this industry excites me. A native of the Eastern Shore, I left home in 2001 to attend cosmetology school and soon after began my career as a stylist in Ocean City, MD. While I loved the experience, I missed home and returned to Chestertown, where I was fortunate to work with Brian and Gunther at their salon, Har Spas — an opportunity that shaped me in the best possible way.

In 2009, I took a leap and opened Flow Salon. Just three years later, we had already outgrown our original space and expanded into our current location, doubling in size and adding spa services to become Flow Salonspa.

When a client sits in my chair, it feels like being behind a pottery wheel — each guest is a unique work of art. I love creating personalized color and customized cuts with attention to every detail. Education keeps me inspired, so I’ve pursued countless advanced classes and continue to learn at every opportunity. My goal is always the same: to enhance natural beauty, help guests feel radiant, and leave them confident inside and out.

Outside the salon, I’m grateful for the support of my husband, Marshall, and our sweet daughter, Neve, who truly owns my heart. When I’m not at Flow, you’ll often find me on the water, cooking, enjoying music, or spending time with my family and our Boston Terrier, Henry.
